I am always on tour skateboarding doing demos, signings, events, and filming for my video parts. Every time I am
on these trips I find new spots as well as some more well known ones. My goal with this "SPOT" page is to update
it every month with a new spot from my travels. I will post the location along with a photo of the spot and directions
of
more or less how to get there. This is for all of my fellow skateboarders out there! I am doing this for you guys!
Every month I will update this page with "1" new spot. So check it often to see new spots.

SKATEBOARD SPOTS

JANUARY 2012: LONG BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
Long Beach,CA
For this spot the location is self explained in it's title. Many people don't know it is at this location though.
Just look in between the streets surrounding the convention center and you will be able to spot it easily.
This drop is huge and the run up is suprisingly not what you would expect. It is an ender type of spot.
On another note if you don't feel like skateboarding this massive drop their are tons of other
fun spots right nearby. Security could be a drag in this whole area though so don't plot your entire
day on skating this spot or it's surrounding skate spots or you could be in for a bummer.
If your passing through check it out and if your lucky you can skate the spots surrounding or this spot
if your feeling ballsy.
DECEMBER 2011: KAISER GAP
El Cajon, CA
The almighty Kaiser gap in El Cajon is a lot bigger than you would think it is in person. I tried to do it justice in this picture
by having the homie Beto stand in the picture so you could really see how big it is. If you feel like getting gnarly and happen
to be on
interstate 8 in San Diego County exit Greenfield. Make a right and then a left at the first light you will see the
parking lot you can't miss it. This spot has never been a bust.
NOVEMBER 2011: ABSTRACT STATUE
Foothill Ranch, CA
This statue stands out like a sore thumb. You can find it in Foothill Ranch on the intersection of Lake Forest and Portola.
It is literally up the hill from the Sole Tech skatepark in Lake Forest. It's limited to how you can skate it and I swear I
I have seen it in a skate video before. Maybe an old 411VM? The trick in the photo above is a 50-50 grind to switch 50
back down. If you skate the left side of the photo you will notice the metal ledge extends out so you can actually
grind it similiar to a flatbar but I will warn you ahead of time that it slants at an angle which proposes a challenge
to you when you skate. All in all it is a unique spot with alot of different unique ways to skate it. You just got to
think differently when you skate it. And different is actually a good thing.
OCTOBER 2011: RITE AID GAP
El Centro, CA

A skate spot page would not be complete without a spot from the town I am originally from. Rite Aid gap has been
around since I started skateboarding. Alot has gone down it now but to this day it is still skateable. It's about 2 boards
long length wise and the drop is similar to a loading dock. The hardest part about this gap is the sheer fact that it lands
into oncoming traffic. I would never recommend skateboarding this gap without someone spotting for you. It is
out right dangerous! Always roll up with homies and it IS skateable at night. It's located in the parking lot of a
Rite Aid thus the name of the gap. There is also a rad manual pad in the parking lot and skateboarders gather
here everyday. You could say it's the Love Park of Imperial Valley. Coming down the 8 freeway from San Diego
or Arizona you get off on Imperial Ave. take that down to Main Street and you will see it right in the intersection.
Also this is the only Rite Aid in El Centro so you can pretty much GPS it and you will find it with ease.
The dude in the photo is one of my filmers Mr. Awan with a steezy midnight kickflip.
SEPTEMBER 2011: EL TORO
Lake Forest
,CA
Yes the legendary 20 stair has had the rail taken out. And rumor has it the stairs are going to be skate proofed soon as well.
Seems if you pull anything off of these stairs you
land yourself into an instant hall of fame of some sort. Or at least enshrined in
countless El Toro Youtube tribute videos! Interestingly enough on the day I took this photo there was not a soul around.
To say it isnt a bust is an understatement though. You can have your good days and your bad. Be prepped to run for it.
Besides you can't really jump down these stairs to many times they are HUGE! It's more of a distance thing than a height thing.
The scariest part is not being able to clear the stairs and possibly wrecking the shit out of your ankles.
Here is the address.
El Toro High School
25255 Toledo Way
Lake Forest, CA 92630
AUGUST 2011: BANK TO LEDGE
Corona
,CA
Right off the 91 freeway in Corona, Ca. 4718 Green River Rd. in Corona, Ca by the Taco Bell. There is also a Carls Jr. next to
it and Coco's in the same lot. This Bank to ledge is pretty rad! If you notice the color change of the street in the photo that is actually
the seperation of the flat asphalt to the banked asphalt. You can not tell to much in the photo but when you see it in person you will
trip out. Its alot steeper than you would think and it leads right up to a sweet waxed ledge. There are also some gaps around the
ledge as well. This spot is not a bust at all but be sure to have a homie watch out for cars coming through. Thats about as sketchy as it
gets. Be safe and have fun skateboarding this sweet spot.
JULY 2011: PHHS 16
San Diego
,CA
The infamous 16 stair rail bank. Going over the rail is obviously the road more taken by skateboarders in the videos.
Although a few have gotten gnarly on the rail itself. Ryan Smith comes to mind. The bank is a little bit rough. Rougher than
you would expect so be forwarned. Everytime I have been to this spot we have never been kicked out. But that does not mean
its bust free. Just show respect to the people around and you should be good. There is always someone practicing baseball or a small
game going on in a field nearby. The spot is in the back of the school next to the football field.
Oh and the stairs actually look
possible as well if someone is gutsy enough to try them. They are long but the runway and landing are pretty good and clean. Search up
Patrick Henry High School on your search engine to get the address. Its alot easier to find it from the direction your coming
than me giving you all kinds of different directions. Hope you all enjoy the spot and be safe! Skate it up brothers!
And marvel at the
fact that Shuriken Shannon nollie flipped over the rail with absolute ease! WOW!
JUNE 2011: RSM LEDGES
Rancho Santa Margarita,CA
These are the RSM Ledges! There are two ends identical to each other. One side for Goofy and the other side for Regular footers.
This spot is NOT a bust. Its by a police station but strangely I have not gotten kicked out. You can go to this spot any day of the
week pretty much. Coming from the 5 freeway from San Diego or Los Angeles you exit onto Alicia towards Mission Viejo,Ca.
Take Alicia till the road ends and make a right into the city of Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca. Make a right onto Las Flores.
You will see a Target store. Drive down the road behind it and follow it till it curves. You will see the ledges on your left. Enjoy!
Oh and bring wax! And sorry to everyone for lagging on getting the first spot up. Been super busy but I promise to try and
get a new spot up every month. Peace and skate it up my friends.
